Robin works as the Talent Co-ordinator for Gensler & Associates for the EMEA region. Robin’s main responsibility is to develop the Talent in the region by means of formal and informal training, whether that is organically within the office , or by using external trainers. Robin works closely with various Universities and Design Schools across the UK as part of the Academic Outreach programme and also works with local schools to bring in school children for work experience placements. A big part of Robin’s job is Intern Recruitment and Development as he looks for emerging talent across all disciplines and bring them on board to take design forward within the Company..
Robin graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BA Honours in Contemporary Arts and has had a variety of jobs in the entertainment industry including : Theatre work, Box Office work and a short stint at a Celebrity booking agency for PR events. Before his move into the world or Architecture and Design, Robin worked for a Theatrical Production company. During his time within the industry, Robin has worked for many design firms such as Foster + Partners, Nokia Design, Hawkins/Brown and Make Architects before joining Gensler back in 2010.
