Alex Brownless: port-of-entry mentor

port-of-entry,are bringing influential industry members into the studio to work with and support creatives. We are honoured to announce Alex Brownless has joined the mentor initative:

Alex is the co-founder of Arts Thread & Director of the Society of British Interior Design. Arts Thread is the world’s only new creative’s network, over the last 3 years Arts Thread has helped hundreds of creative graduates gain employment worldwide. There are approximately 100 institutions promoting 15,000 creative graduates from over 20 countries on the Arts Thread digital platform. Alex graduated with a BA Honours in Textile Design in the early 90’s and has a rather diverse career, designing for such companies as M&S, Banana Republic, Gap etc. He represented factories in China, India, Sri Lanka & Turkey and supplied many UK retailers & brands, he headed up the streetwear brand NASA, was the E- Business Manager of the International online trend website WGSN and headed up fashion/textiles at the world’s largest creative recruitment consultancy Aquent.
