Leanne has 10 years project management experience
in events, artist development, product and digital communications; is the
founder of the I AM Awards, a yearly awards ceremony for unsigned and
independent artists, which their promotional support has resulted in artist’s
being signed to major record labels, such as Taio Cruz and Smiler. Is founder
of The Starling Sessions, the support network for musicians to lead a new
industry.
Leanne is a Lecturer in events and project management at Kings College
and the University of London. Is a director of PR firm Marvellous
Communications and events agency LaunchPad London. A publisher for To Be
Continued Magazine, a solid outlet for talent since May 2012 to 17,000 online
readers a month and rising.
Her previous positions have been with leading agencies working with;
uSwitch, Warner Bros, Microsoft EMEA, BBC, ITV, EMI, SONY BMG and Amnesty
International. She is successful at starting and running companies from the
ground up and created a subsidiary company called the Fundraising Academy in
2010 with a £80,000 venture fund that trained, recruited and placed candidates
within the charity sector. The business model was later taken on by Institute
of Fundraising. Leanne has also worked with Epson, Ebookers, Marvel and Thomas
Cook in contributing to their digital marketing strategies.
