New Residency: The Unemployed Architects Community
The Unemployed Architects Community provides a space for unemployed Architects to share our experience, knowledge, and resources, and find ways to help each other and ourselves. In view of the length and depth of the current economic crisis, it is critical that we develop radical new ways of working together, in order to minimise the long term impact on both the industry and individuals. The UAC are currently undertaking exciting project work involving groups of everyday people and recent graduates giving the opportunity to engage with real world architectural issues and develop their skills for industry. Through the vehicle of a counter concept proposal responding to a significant urban development currently in planning, we are taking the opportunity to explore the use of technology to create new networks and allow a wider audience to connect and contribute to the architectural process. Circulo Creativo London presents: Hit The Road
14 Feb 2013
Hit The Road: an exhibition featuring the works of Spanish photographers, members of CCLnd.
Circulo Creativo London is an online information, co-working and contact platform for Spanish creatives in London. It is a non-profit initiative which aims to be a space shared between established professionals, those new to the creative industry and those moving to London.
The objective of this project is to create a platform of Spanish creatives by activities and initiatives that will create a buzz of the creative footprint of the Spanish community.
Circulo Creativo also aims to serve as a bridge between this city of opportunities/ London and Spain. The people who follow the platform are mostly Spanish creatives who live in London.
This event will be the official launch of Circulo Creativo London and will showcase 15 Spanish photographers all from different backgrounds and styles- from a pure conceptual approach to the aesthetic- but they all find a universal language in photography.
